The central HVAC system has two major components:
One is called an air handler. This unit should be installed inside your home or building and installed in a centralized location this will allow minimize duct lengths, optimize air flow, and easier
to access for maintenance or AC repair.
The second major component is the condenser. This unit should be outside, and manufacturers recommend that a precise clearance distance should be given to ensure there is no blockage of air flow
from the unit. Placement is key and is one more reason you should invest careful thought into with whom you are entrusting your investment. It is also important to know that the inside air handler
and the outside condenser are assembled for the first time on site. The quality of the installation work that is invested into planning and assembly of a new air conditioner can directly impact the
efficiency and reliability of the entire system.

The Outdoor Condenser Unit - Give it Space - Let It Breathe!

Signs of a Weak or Not Running Condenser Fan
Ac Not Blowing Cold, Shutting Off On It's Own, Making Humming Sound, Having Trouble Turning On.
How Does the Outdoor Condenser Work
Your condenser is outdoors, and it needs a good amount of space to be efficient. Heat is removed from the indoor air through the refrigeration cycle, hot refrigerant gets sent to the outdoor unit.
The main job of the outdoor unit is to release heat the refrigerant absorbed from your indoor air.
What Does The Fan Do On Top Of The Condenser
A condenser fan helps blow air over the outdoor coils (what the refrigerant flows through) to release heat energy to the outside air. Unfortunately, if your outdoor unit is clogged and airflow
impeded, it will take a lot longer for the refrigerant to release the heat. Just like how your body couldn't release the heat when wrapped in a wool blanket.
Our Condenser Tune-Up Service
Inspect coolant levels and pressure to ensure your system runs at peak efficiency, Calibrate thermostat(s) and check proper cycle and temperature to improve comfort and control, Inspect and tighten
wiring, contacts, capacitors and relays to avoid expensive repairs, Ensure the condenser is clean, condensate drain is clear, inspect the outdoor disconnect switch lubricate the condenser fan motor
and blades, if needed. Upon completion we present your AC Tune-Up Checklist and share any recommendations and potential concerns about your air conditioning system.

New Installation.
Once the old unit has been removed, then it's time to install the AC unit replacement. This portion of the work may involve replacing piping or electrical and ductwork connections, if the hookups
differ in any way. Electrical connections are checked, and refrigerant is added to the system per the manufacturer's instructions at that time. After all this has been completed, we will connect your
new air conditioner and test it to ensure everything is working the way it should. If it passes the test, this is usually when a new thermostat is installed or the existing one checked. Now that your
new HVAC system is in good working order, you will receive a few reminders about proper maintenance services.
There are many air conditioners brand options available to you. We will suggest the best setup for your home and affordability to your needs.
We Offer:Brands Carrier, Luxaire, Goodmand, Rheem, Interherm, Trane, Mitsubishi split.
Terms to know
Air Handler - the indoor unit that provides conditioned air circulation through your home. An air-handling unit includes a blower, heating and/or cooling elements, filter racks or chambers and dampers.
Compressor - In a central air conditioning system, the compressor (and the condenser) is located in the box outside your home and compresses refrigerant to initiate the cooling process.
Evaporator Coil - the part of the air conditioning system that actually pulls heat out of your home's air by allowing the refrigerant to evaporate, which extracts heat from the surrounding air,
lowering the air temperature.
Refrigerant - A substance found in the evaporator coils that moves from gas to liquid to exchange heat to produce a cooling effect.
Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) - SEER is a standardized measurement for the overall operating efficiency of an air conditioning system. The higher the system's SEER rating, the more efficient
it is at converting energy into air cooling.
Burning Odors: Are you beginning to smell something burning in your home that isn't your overcooked dinner? Then you may want to give your electrical service panel a look. The burning odors are
often a result of old, faulty wiring that isn't capable of performing at a higher level anymore. Before this situation gets any worse, namely by threatening your home's level of safety, it's time to
get an upgrade.
